Bayern Munich Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says he knows the next destination of Pep Guardiola. But he refused to mention the Spanish coach’s next destination saying: “But I want to leave the announcement to him or his new employer.”
Pep Guardiola’s contract at Bayern Munich will come to an end this summer, which the club announced on Sunday that Guardiola will be leaving to seek for a new adventure.
Pep Guardiola has been link with a move to Man United, Man City, and Chelsea and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has indicated that he knows his yet to go employee’s next club.
“I think I know where he is going, but I want to leave the announcement to him or his new employer.
“At the Christmas party two weeks ago he came to me, he told me that he was looking for a new challenge and almost apologised. It was clearly difficult for him, I’m not disappointed in him,” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge disclosed to Bild.
Pep Guardiola was appointed as Bayern Manager in 2013 and has won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and DFB Pokal, but the Bundesliga Champions have lined up success manager Carlo Ancelotti to take over in July 2016
