Lillestrom took advantage of the momentum to grab their fourth win on the trot in all competitions on Sunday when they stunned Tromso 1-2 away at Alfheim Stadion. Gary Martin and Thomas Olsen produced a blitzkrieg two-goal cushion within three minutes midway through the first half as left-winger Erling Knudtzon provided a pair of assists confirming his strong spell of form.
Two league wins (the other two fame in NM Cupen) helped Arne Erlandsen’s side rebound from the poor kick off to the new campaign, but maintaining the thread against the reigning champions Rosenborg on Wednesday will be a huge challenge for the visiting side.
The hosts will be highly motivated to grab the spoils knowing they are already seven points behind the runaway leaders Brann and they just can’t afford to drop more points at home, particularly against the opposition such as Lillestrom.

Kare Ingebrigtsen’s side won nine and drew one of last ten matches in all competitions, confirming the poor start to the campaign (two points in three games) has nothing to do with their high double crown ambitions in Norway.
The hosts kept their net untouched in six of last seven games which is why we can hardly see Lillestrom scoring at Lerkendal Stadion. Fugla did not find the back of the net in each of last three H2H meetings with Rosenborg and we have to see the value in backing the hosts to keep things tight at the back at the 2.25 odds here.
