KR Reykjavik vs SJK Seinajoki
2017/18 UEFA Europa League Qualification
Date: Thursday, 29th June 2017
Kick off at 20:15 UK/ 21:15 CET
SJK ended the negative run of two consecutive losses without a single goal scored by claiming an important 1-0 win over PS Kemi on Monday to boost up their confidence ahead of the visit to Alvogenvollurinn for the first leg of their Europa League qualification tie with KR.
The hosts are not off to the best possible start to their Urvalsdeild campaign, but they also did manage to pick up a very important win over KA on Saturday.
The main problems for Willum Thorsson and his men pop put at the back since the team is yet to keep a clean sheet in this season.
However, we must praise the hosts for quite decent displays on the home pitch in the last term of Europa League when they saw off Glenavon 2-1 and held Grasshoppers to a 3-3 draw.
SJK will thus have a nice chance to boost up their confidence in the final third because finding goals up front has been quite of a challenge for the team from Seinajoki.
The visitors can’t be proud of their European adventures in the last couple of years as they failed to advance to the next stage in both 2015 (Europa League) and 2016 (Champions League).

The Scandinavian rivals have not previously had the chance to meet each other.
KR Reykjavik vs SJK Seinajoki: Prediction
It is very hard to say which of the two teams will be able to force their playing style.
We somehow believe that the hosts will not be able to keep their net untouched and a potential goal would mean a lot for SJK ahead of the rematch in Finland.
We’ll thus skip any outcome best and go for the BTTS as the top betting prediction at the odds of 19/20.
