Reading vs Bristol City
English League Championship
Date: Saturday, 3rd November 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Madejski Stadium (Reading)
Reading faces Bristol City on Saturday in another attempt to move away from the relegation zone.
Reading are in trouble right now. The team concedes a lot of goals and hardly keeps a clean sheet. That’s probably the main reason behind their 22nd place with just 12 points under their belts. Reading has won just 3 points from possible 15 and with this tempo its likely that they will dig deeper down the table. At home they lost every single game against top half teams giving them one of the worst home records in the league.
Last week the Royals took second back to back beating. This time they traveled to Swansea and got home with nothing. McBurnie scored 1 goal in each half while Reading wasn’t able to do much in front of goal. The team got outplayed and rightfully lost 2-0.
Bristol’s season is marked with inconsistency so far. The Robins are rotating good performances with poor displays. They can beat a top half team and then suddenly lose against bottom table side. Still they have a more than decent defensive line and with a bit more consistency up front they may quickly become a top 6 contestant.
Last Saturday Bristol had one of those poor days. They went against Stoke City at home just to lose narrowly. Former Man United midfielder Darren Fletcher opened up the score in the first half which eventually turned out to be the only goal. Bristol proceeded to play better and create chances but their finishing was letting them down.

Reading vs Bristol: Predictions
Reading are really looking in trouble. The team’s home record is not good enough and they often fall apart in the second half of the game. The Royals just tend to be stronger in the opening half of the game. Bristol on the contrary look better in the second half. We saw their late wins against Hull City and Brentford and this time that may be the case again.
