Rangers vs St Mirren
2018/19 Scottish Premiership
Date: Sunday, 12 August 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Ibrox Stadium (Glasgow).
Rangers will welcome St Mirren at Ibrox stadium on Sunday afternoon for the game week 2 of the Scottish Premier League.
Liverpool legend Steven Gerard has taken the mantle at Rangers and have been impressive in his debut season as a manager. They won Slovenian Champions NK Maribor 3-1 in the Europa League first leg qualifiers.
Gers will be entering this game with high morale having won the Europa League. They are expected to grab their first win of the season after picking up just a point against Aberdeen last week.
St Mirren have had a brilliant start of the season and they extended it with a win in their first Premiership game since 2015. They are among the promoted sides this season having been relegated since 2015 and they kicked off the season with a 2-1 win against Dundee.
The Saints have a hard task at hand as they are up against a strong side away from home. They need to put in more effort to grab a win at Glasgow.

Considering that Gers haven’t lost any of their competitive games or friendlies under their new manager Steven Gerrard, we don’t see the Saints winning this one. We are backing Rangers to grab a win but not with a clean sheet. This gives room for both teams to score and also an over 2.5 match goals
