Queens Park Rangers vs Preston Predictions 14th April 2018 EFL Championship

Queens Park Rangers vs Preston North End
England – Championship
Date: Saturday, 14 April 2018
Kick-Off at 15:00 UK
Venue: Loftus Road Stadium (London).

Preston finally managed to end the dreadful three-loss streak on Tuesday when they dispatched Leeds United 3-1 at Deepdale. It turned out to be a comfortable victory even though the Lilywhites were a goal down on the break. Paul Gallagher, Sean Maguire and Alan Browne bagged goals for the squad led by Alex Neil. The Scottish manager is still miles away from taking the team into the playoffs given that Preston North End are five points shy of the sixth-placed Millwall at this stage.

Can the Lilywhites get at least one step closer to the top six on Saturday when they travel to the capital to take on Queens Park Rangers. The hosts have nowhere to go in the remaining four games of the season, but they will still be a dangerous opposition to any rival out there. The Hoops were particularly impressive in matches at Loftus Road Stadium recently. They won three straight games there netting four goals in each of last two wins over Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Knowing that Preston’s form was anything but impressive in recent weeks, we would not be surprised to witness another pleasant afternoon for the home team fans at Loftus Road here. Neil’s men lost two on the bounce on travels even though the opposition included the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Reading.

Queens Park Rangers vs Preston North End: Head-to-head

Preston North End come into this on the back of a streak of three consecutive wins in meetings with QPR.

The Hoops are actually winless in last six ties against the Lilywhites.

Only one of last six head to head games saw three or more goals.
