PSV Eindhoven will be prepared to continue their winning streak when they Portuguese side FC Porto on Thursday 21st July.

PSV extended their winning streak to three games after they brutalised Portugal’s Sporting CP 5-0 on Monday in a grand style, Luuk De Jong who grabbed a brace in the game scored an opener just 5′ minutes into the game when he converted the penalty awarded to them, 21′ minutes later, Jurgen Locadia made it 2-0. Alberto Aquilani made matters worse for the Portuguese side when was sent off in the 34′ minute with his second yellow card booking of the game. Jorrit Hendrix made 3-0 4 minutes before half time while Adam Maher and Luuk de Jong finished it off in 50′ and 55′ minutes respectively. PSV will be hoping for a repeat of this performance against Porto as they hope to extend their winning streak to 4 games.

Meanwhile FC Porto played their second Preseason friendly on Sunday against Osnabruck which they fought hard to win 2-1 to stay unbeaten in this summer preseason friendly games, they drew their first game against Rio Ave 1-1 on the 9th July, they will be prepared to keep the unbeaten form going as they play the Dutch side on Thursday.

PSV Eindhoven vs FC Porto: Head-to-Head

There are no previous record of games between these two great teams, showing that this is the first time the two teams are playing each other. Both teams will play their best to earn a win.

PSV Eindhoven vs FC Porto: Prediction

Both teams are in great shape and good run of form in their previous preseason games making it hard to pick out a favourite in this fixture, PSV have been the busier of the two sides having played 5 friendly games. They have lost one and won four also they have scored at least 2 goals in 4 of the 5 games. Porto haven’t played much but they are unbeaten in the 2 games they have played so far, they have won 1 and drawn 1.

I predict a win for the Dutch side but i also expect both teams to score at least a goal each.

PSV Eindhoven vs FC Porto: Tips

  1. Both teams to score
