Reims vs Lyon Prediction

Reims and Lyon will open Sunday’s Ligue 1 schedule with the Matchday No 7 game at Stade Auguste-Delaune II.

The hosts will enter the tie in much higher spirits after a trilling performance in a 1-2 victory away at Lille on Tuesday.

It was Reims’ third win of the season as William Still’s men climbed to 5th place as a consequence.

Reims play great football under Still. They have bagged eleven goals in the opening six rounds of the season. They have a fantastic creator in the like of Marshall Munetsi who delivered two assists in the mentioned midweek’s win at Lille.

Teddy Teuma has three goals and two assists to his name this season while Mohammed Daramy notched his second goal of the campaign five days ago at Lille.

The story is completely opposite with Lyon who are not pulling up any trees this season. The visitors got off to a nightmare start to the new season with two draws and four defeats in the opening six rounds.
