Bournemouth finally picked up the first league win of the season on Saturday afternoon when they dispatched Burnley 2-1 at Vitality Stadium.

It was a massive three-pointer for Andoni Iraola’s troops who moved away from the relegation zone in the Premier League as a consequence.

The Cherries will face very tough times trying to back it up in the next weeks, though, as they are ready to tackle the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle in the next three outings across competitions.

They are big underdogs on Wednesday evening in the home clash against Liverpool as the two teams battle for the League Cup quarterfinal.

The Reds are flying high these days as another easy win over Nottingham Forest kept them just three points shy of Premier League table-toppers Tottenham Hotspur.
