Venue: Estadio Monumental (Lima).

With Colombia and Peru gearing up to face some of the strongest contenders of the Copa America, right from the group stages, their clash on Sunday will play a vital role in determining if both teams have done their homework right.

The teams have a long history of encounters between them, with Colombia snatching the win in two out of three, of their most recent matches.

Falcao, Muriel and Tesillo had their scoring boots on for their country in their last match against Panama and could well find their names on the score sheet on Sunday.

Meantime, Peru will have to make sure that Colombia do not find a momentum early on and will need to keep a hold of possession if they plan on surviving the match.

They will also have to be alert of crosses coming into the box and Falcao being at the end of them as he has often proved to be very deadly in the air.

Peru vs Colombia Prediction

Colombia are mostly likely to come out on top in their clash with Peru on Sunday, which will be their final friendly match before their Copa America 2019 campaign commences.

Having already thumped Panama by three goals to none in their last match, Carloz Qeuiroz’s attacking line look sure to seal the game by the end of the ninety minutes.

The home team put up a very impressive defensive display in their previous match against Panama, allowing their opponents not more than five goal attempts throughout the entire 90 minutes. If they can recreate the same magic on Sunday, Colombia will surely take the win and a clean sheet at the end of the day.
