Pep Guardiola to announce his future by Christmas

Pep Guardiola has gone midway into the final year of his current Bayern Munich contract and is set to make announcement on 25 December on his decision concerning his future at the club.

Pep Guardiola has been linked with several Premier League clubs with Manchester City at the fore front. The Spanish coach is almost at the end of his contract with the record German Champions and has revealed it is about time to announce his decision whether to stay or leave Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich’s Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is preparing to make Guardiola an enormous offer to make him stay.

German international and Bayern Munich captain has assured the Manager the entire squad supports him and wants him to stay “The team’s position is clear, we enjoy working with our coach and we really, really want to keep doing so,” the Captain said.

Lahm also told Kicker: “If Guardiola leaves one day, for sure another excellent coach will come along, but first we have to see what happens.”

Ex Real Madrid star and Spain international Xabi Alonso also wants to extend his contract with the club if Guardiola decides to stay.

Some Bayern fans reacted what they want from the coach, a fan dressed as the famous Santa Claus on the manager’s pre-Christmas visit to Bayern fans handed Guardiola a scroll which contains a spoof contract to remain the club’s coach for the rest of his life. The coach only needs to sign his name and write down the amount of money he thought was suitable.

Guardiola seemed to be annoyed with the invariant rumours linking him with England, some even saw him linked with the English national team.

Some sources claimed Guardiola has already put pen to a deal to join Manchester City by 2016/2017 season.

Manchester United are also possible bus stop for the Spaniard after their shocked Champions League exit, Chelsea also is another likely destination as they are just few points away from relegation zone.
