Venue: Children’s Mercy Park (Kansas City).
The Americans have been on a dominating run in the CONCACAF Gold Cup this year, with all of their wins coming in a very convincing fashion. Their most recently concluded fixture against Trinidad and Tobago saw them thump their opponents by a six-goal scoreline with a clean sheet in hand.
Aaron long and Gyasi Zardes managed to bag a brace apiece while Christian Pulisic and Paul Arriola added the icing on the cake with a goal each. The squad managed an impressive twenty-seven attempts at goal, out of which twelve were on target, and also kept the majority share of possession with the ball.
Panama took on Guyana in their second round of group fixtures and managed to come out on top with the scoreline reading 4-2 in their favour at the end of the ninety minutes. Although they took the initial lead in that match through Abdiel Arroyo, their opponents equalized in under twenty minutes and the match was up for grabs.
However, Julio Dely Valdes’s side found another goal, five minutes before the break and then two more after the restart. Despite their counterparts grabbing one more during stoppage time, the game was well out of latter’s reach by then.
Gregg Berhalter’s men are now at the helm of the group with six points while their opponents Panama are second, trailing only on goal difference.

Panama vs USA Prediction
Panama are unlikely to cause a dent in USA’s winning streak and are likely to see their own two-match unbeaten run come to an end when the two teams clash against each other Thursday.
Five out of the six goals that Gregg Berhalter’s side scored in the previous game as well as three out of the four goals in their opening match came after the restart. His side have been consistent when it comes to opening the scoring and finishing the game off in style. We can certainly expect them to repeat the same against Julio Dely Valdes’s men who will have to defend around the clock to keep their opponents at bay.
The match is certain to be a high scoring one, with the Americans likely to record their third successive victory.
