Form Guide

Orlando City have failed to record a win in their last five MLS clash scoring just four goals in the process with two lost and three draws. They have played just a home game in last five matches which they drew goalless with Houston Dynamo and are looking to redeem themselves in the second home match in last five games against New England.

Stoke City made a turbulent start to the pre-season and failed to win in each of the two warm-up games they played so far. They lost to Burton Albion 3-0 and drew with Preston North End.

Orlando City vs Stoke City: Team News

The two sides have no injuries or suspensions to worry about. And Orlando City are expected to fill in their veteran mid-fielders Julio Baptista and Ricardo Kaka for the upcoming friendly against Stoke City.

While the Potters could miss the services of Marko Arnautovic, Jon Walters and Xhadan Shaqiri; who are still on holidays after representing their respective countries in the Euro 2016 competition in France.

Orlando City vs Stoke City: Prediction

The Potters could stand a chance of winning in this game, despite poor performances in the first two pre-season friendlies. Mark Hughes will be keen to see his boys to gain some momentum in order to boost confidence and morale before the new English Premier League season starts by mid-August.

Orlando City need to bounced back to winning ways following a failure to grab a win in last five games as they sit seventh in the MLS table with 23 points of 20 games. They must work on their back-line as 11 goals have located their back net in just last five games.

Predicted Scoreline: Orlando City 1-1 Stoke City.

  1. Both Teams to Score.
  2. Under 2.5 goals.
