Norwich City vs Aston Villa
English League Championship
Date: Tuesday, 23rd October 2018
Kick-off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich).
Norwich City and Aston Villa switched places compared to last season. Norwich now sits in the playoffs while the Villans are dropping fast in the table.
The Canaries are finally starting to find their game under the management of Farke. The team still needs a lot of consistency to stay in the playoffs but so far they are looking a lot better than last season. Norwich does not excel or shine in anything particular but looks a good round off team which can cause any side troubles.
At the weekend they stood strong and completed a turnaround in Nottingham to claim all the points at The City Ground. Forest are not a side to be complacent about and winning at their stadium is not easy. They even went ahead early in the game but Norwich rallied in the end as Klose scored twice giving them all the points.
Aston Villa finally broke their poor run of games. The team was dropping fast in the table and it looked like they will be too far away from top 6 before they can respond. The uncertainty around the managerial position looks to have cost them a lot but now the Villans are slowly recovering.
Aston Villa took a vital victory last round against strong Swansea side. This was their first victory in 5 games and was very important for the confidence of the team. Early goal from Abraham gave them the lead, a lead which they kept all the way till the end of the game.
