Metz vs Amiens
France Ligue 1
Date: Saturday 21st September 2019
Kick off at 19:00 UK/ 20:00 CET
Venue: Stade Saint Symphorien (Metz)
Metz come into this game in 17th place and are feeling the heat already on their return to Ligue 1. The season had started well as they gained 4 points from their first six, but since then it has gone down hill and they have lost 3 games in a row.
Metz have conceded 7 goals in those games, and whilst it wasn’t a shock that they lost against PSG, losing against Angers by 3-0 was never in the script. Last weekend they fell to Bordeaux in a 2-0 defeat.
The good news for the club is that they have only played two games at home so far, a very good win over Monaco and that PSG loss which would have been expected. This game then gives the home side a real chance to get back on the winning track.
Amiens have the same points as Metz and are down the league as a result so this is a big game for both of the clubs.
But while the club have had a poor start to the season there is no denying last weekend’s result which was a good one as they drew with Lyon. That ended back to back defeats for the club. On the road Amiens have lost both of their games.

Metz vs Amiens: Prediction
There is nothing between the two teams and this is set to be a close game. Because of this we will look into value and go for the goalscorers selections, we will also back both teams to find the back of the net.
Habib Diallo has started really well for the home side netting 3 goals already and will we back him to score.
This is set to be a slow game, played at a faster pace the longer it goes on and we expect to see a physical game in decent warm weather for this time of year, which should lead to a decent spectacle in the north of France.
