Metz v Nantes
France – Ligue 1
Date: Sunday, 18th March 2018
Kick off at 14:00 UK/ 15:00 CET
Venue: Stade Saint-Symphorien (Metz).
Metz remain rooted to the bottom of the league after another loss last weekend. Although playing PSG away from home was always going to end in defeat and Metz went down 5-0. This latest loss means that the club are now 9 points from safety.
They have picked up just 1 point from their last two home games and their fantastic revival at the beginning of the year looks dead and buried. However if Metz are going to pick up points again it will more than likely be at home in front of their own fans.
After a terrible couple of months Nantes have picked up the pace again and ended their losing streak with a draw away to Marseille which actually should have been a win and then they did get all three points when they beat Troyes at home.
Nantes are in 5th place but there are no less than 4 teams challenging for that spot. This on paper is a difficult match for the Canaries but they have only lost 1 game away from home in their past five and will be hoping to pick up something here.

Metz v Nantes: Prediction
This is Metz last chance to mount a challenge and build confidence up and go on a run. But Nantes have become a very tough side to beat, and whilst they don’t have the best away record they have scraped out draws throughout the season.
