The much awaited Manchester Rivalry is here again, with both teams in good shapes and form, they are set to battle it out at Old Trafford for the bragging rights of the City of Manchester.
Manchester United looks forward to gun down Manchester City from the top position and Manchester City are hoping they’ll beat United and widen there point margin to 5.
Both Manchester teams had an encouraging result from the mid week Champions League game and they are looking to secure maximum points from this game and anything less than that might be short of joy for the fans.
There is no difference between the two teams in their last five encounters, given that they have scored equal number of goals and conceded the same amount of goals to each other (10 goals), this game might be the bragging right decider for the 2 Manchester Clubs.
Both teams have been on an excellent form for the past five games, with United loosing one, drew one and won three games and Manchester City have won four of their last five games, loosing one game.
Manchester United seem to have a near fully loaded squad except for the injuries of Luke Shaw (leg) and Paddy McNair (liver) while Ashley Young is back in training thou he’s not ready for Sunday game after being absent for 21 days or more.
For Manchester City, things are a bit different as their injury lists keeps growing, David Silva (ankle) and Sergio Aguero (hamstring)are the hardest hit and they are long term injuries while Fabian Delph (hamstring), Gael Clichy (ankle) and Samir Nasri (hamstring) joined the injury list, Pellegrini has given a hint in press conference that Kevin De Bruyne might be deployed as a striker against their greatest rival at Old Trafford.
This is the kind of game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. See you at Old Trafford on Sunday.
