Manchester United – Team News

Manchester United will be with out the services of long time absentees only Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair.

Luke Shaw has been out on the sidelines since breaking his leg at PSV Eindhoven in September’s Champions League match. Paddy McNair, the young defender has suffered a serious injury during Northern Ireland’s final Euro 2016 qualifying match in Finland. Ashley Young has recovered from an injury suffered during Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, has failed to pass fitness and wont make it to the squad list on Sunday.

Good news for the Red Devils is that Ander Herrera is fit and is ready to start after recovering from a heavy blow to the ribs during the closing stages in Moscow

Manchester City – Team News

David Silva and Sergio Aguero are the two key players missing for Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City. David Silva returned to training in the midweek but it will be a huge surprise if he makes it into the team sheet for the trip to Old Trafford.

The injury list had grown for the sky blues in recent weeks with the likes of Samir Nasri, Fabian Delph and Gael Clichy also going under the knife.

Alexander Kolarov is available for selection after recovering from a knock and Vincent Kompany could be welcomed back to the starting eleven after returning to full fitness.
