Man United prepare record bid to sign Neymar in January

Manchester United are preparing to make a huge investment in an attempt to secure the service of Barcelona ace Neymar. According to the reports from England, Manchester United are ready to pay as much as 150 million Euros to tempt the Brazilian change his alliance.

It is also evident from the speculations that United want to sign him in January and not at the end of the season and that is the reason for offering such a mammoth bid. And it is unlikely that the Spanish club let their star man leave in the middle of the season, but some other reports reveals Barcelona will be forced to accept bids due to some other reason and here is why.

But there is a real chance of getting him at the end of the season as various reports cited the financial problems of Barcelona may prompt them into selling their attacking trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar.

The financial woes of the Spanish Champions put them in a difficult situation to offer new deals to these three players. It has been also reported that the cumulative salary earning by ‘MSN’ makes up to about 73% of the Barcelona’s overall revenue.

The Red Devils’ recent exit from the Champions League is also a main reason to bring substantial re-enforcements in January. Besides Neymar, they are also looking into the possibility of signing either Tottenham’s England international Harry Kane or Everton’s Lukaku in the next few weeks.

The big debate still remains whether it is Louis Van Gaal’s philosophy or the players failing to adapt to the pressure on Premier League is the reason for their recent struggles. Man United players have consistently failed to raise their performance levels on the field since the beginning of the season.

It is imminent that Man United need enforcements and must make right signings when the winter transfer market opens in January. With Rooney seems to have past his best and Martial too young to lead the attack, a new striker must help the team to keep their title challenge alive.
