Manchester City vs Fulham
English Premier League
Date: Saturday, 5th December 2020
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Etihad Stadium (Manchester).

Manchester City will feel confident of a victory when they take on Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s team had their best victory of the season last weekend with a 5-0 demolition job of Burnley and striker Riyad Mahrez had a memorable game as he scored a hat trick.

In midweek City had to travel to Portugal to play Porto in the Champions League and that match finished 0-0. But the club will qualify for the knock out stages even if the game was a frustrating one for them. It was also an extra game they had to play compared to Fulham.

By their standards City have had a slow start to the new campaign but the win last weekend has put them in 11th place and they have played a game less than most other teams, win that and in theory the club would be in 5th place.

At home City have been defeated once this season but the good news is that they have gone their last 3 games at the Etihad undefeated.

Fulham have really struggled so far but they pulled off a fantastic win last Monday to beat Leicester away from home. The match finished 2-1 and not many people would have seen that coming.

Scott Parker’s side come into this game in 17th place and are just 1 point from the relegation zone. A surprise win wouldn’t change their position but could give the club a 4 point advantage from the bottom three.

Manchester City vs Fulham: Prediction

Manchester City are the huge odds on favourites to win this match and there is no value in backing them to win. For an example Fulham are around 21.00 (20/1) to win.

Fulham will be encouraged by their surprise win over Leicester and they have nothing to lose here, although they will want to keep the score low.

City have a wealth of players and goalscoring opportunities and to get some value from this game we will have to look into that market. But this should be a straightforward victory for Guardiola’s who will be looking for their 5th victory of the season.
