Yeni Malatyaspor vs Partizan Belgrade
Europa League Qualification
Date: Thursday, 15 August 2019
Kick-off at 18:00 UK/ 19:00 CET
Venue: Malatya Arena (Malatya)
In the return leg of the 3rd round of the Europa League Qualifers, Malatyaspor will host Partizan Belgrade.
Partizan managed to impose their gameplan on Malatyaspor in the first leg, to move the ball around fast, attack spaces, and the Turkish club could not cope with that. Terrible defensive positioning, slow-moving offence, just an off-day, overall, for them.
Malatya looked way better against Olimpija in the previous round (3-2 on agg.) and they have to raise their game significantly for the return leg to have a shot of progressing to the next round. Turkish league will kickoff this weekend.
Partizan was thoroughly fantastic, they scored three goals and created 3-4 incredible clear-cut-chances that Seydoubah Soumah and Takuma Asano failed to execute. Both of them got on the scoresheet, though; Asano after a brilliant defence-splitting pass from Sasa Zdjelar, while Soumah scored from a penalty kick.

Yeni Malatyaspor vs Partizan Belgrade: Prediction
Hosts need to score 2 and concede 0 to progress. Sounds easy, but it’s not. It’s hard to put a faith in a team that allowed Partizan to go on the rampage.
At home, they will attack and I suspect they will score at least one, but guests will also have plenty of chances for counter attacks and having speedy Japanese in the team certainly helps their gameplan for the night.
Bojan Ostojic, reliable centre-back might miss the trip to Malatya – bad for Partizan, good for our bets.
BTTS-YES is a must bet here, over 2.5 as an alternative.
