Luton vs Birmingham
England – Championship
Date: Saturday, 11 January 2020

Luton have been branded as the worst side in the cluster, and for good reason. And now, with Birmingham unbeaten in their past two h2h encounters, it looks the hosts have little or no chance of coming away with the win.

Luton vs Birmingham Prediction
Luton were at the losing end of a 3-1 scorecard against Millwall in their last clash in the second division. Despite being 1-0 up at the break, the hosts failed to keep their foes at bay and disappointingly succumbed to three goals post the restart.
The home side further admitted defeat in their mid-week FA Cup clash with Bournemouth, with the latter slotting four unanswered goals past them.
Having amassed no more than twenty-one points so far, Luton have deservedly slumped to the bottom of the ladder.
On the other hand, things have not been going according to plan for Birmingham either. The guests are without a win in their past six Championship fixtures. Miserably, they have garnered just one measly point from a possible eighteen.
Be that as it may, Birmingham did taste success in their respective FA Cup encounter with Blackburn, and will be making the trip to Kenilworth Road on the back of that positive result.
Furthermore, the visiting contingent have been resilient in their recent outings and have stumbled just once in their past five. Given that the hosts have come out on top in just two of their previous five matchups here, the win is more than likely to swing in favor of Birmingham in this one.
However, the visitors have shared the spoils in three of their last five trips on the road. Taking into account that Luton managed to salvage a point in their most recent game here as well, it will be safer to back a double chance this weekend.
Additionally, Luton have looked sharp in the final third, especially at home. Nineteen of the thirty-two goals that they have scored so far have come from their clashes here.
Meanwhile, Birmingham have not kept a clean sheet away from home since their 1-0 win over Charlton three months ago. Considering that both teams also found the back of the net together in the reverse fixture of this matchup, expect the two sides to have their scoring boots on when they lock horns this Saturday.
