Corinthians President Robero de Andrade claims Alexandre Pato will be signing for Liverpool by January Winter transfer window, the President claims Corinthians and Liverpool have an ‘agreement in principle’.
The 26-year-old Brazilian star who is currently on loan to Sao Paulo from Corinthians till the end of 2015 has revealed he has no plans of extending his loan stay.
The ex-AC Milan star move back home to Brazil from Italy two years ago and has voiced out his hopes of returning to Europe, may be a move to England or Spain this New year.
If we should believe De Andrade, that makes Pato’s wish come true as he will be a part of the ongoing revolution set up by Jurgen Klopp at Anfield once the transfer window opens again by January.
The Corinthians President claims the deal is almost through, except for some remaining little details which will be finalized soon.
“There is an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer in the coming weeks”, De Andrade explained.
Pato was considered to be one of football’s premier talents during his early years at AC Milan. But a series of unfortunate injuries in the final two seasons has halted his progress.
Pato’s long desire to move back to Europe seems to be coming true. He has 10 goals for the Brazil national team and wish to fight back into Dunga’a Selecao side in the near future.
