RB Leipzig vs Schalke 04
Germany – Bundesliga
Date: Saturday, 3 October 2020
Kick-off at 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Red Bull Arena.
The Red Bulls have been the best team in the country after the two titans – Bayern and Dortmund, for the past several years. They expectedly had finished third in the table in 2019-20, and had the second-best defense in the whole league – bested only by the Bavarians.
They have picked up exactly from where they left off things the last campaign, and have shown indications that they are once again targeting a podium finish – and maybe even better.
Meanwhile, the Royal Blues are one of the worst teams in the competition at the moment – and just maybe the absolute worst. They are now placed dead last in the table, and have so far conceded a total of 11 goals from their opening two games.
And do note that they have scored a total of one goal in return for these 11.
On top of that, Julian Nagelsmann’s men are at home, and also had comprehensively beaten this opponent the last time they locked horns.
By all means, expect a comfortable win for Leipzig.

Leipzig vs Schalke: Prediction
Nagelsmann’s men had recorded a 1-1 draw the last match-day, on the road, against Leverkusen. In the meantime, the Royal Blues lost 1-3 at home against Bremen.
In fact, they are on a 20-match winless run, and also had lost 12 of their last 15 overall fixtures. They are also on a winless run on the road since November of 2019, and have scored a total of just three goals from their preceding ten such games.
On the other hand, their counterparts were unbeaten in 20 of their former 22 games, and these two losses had come against PSG (Champions League), and Dortmund.
Going on, they have also lost just once at home in the past 12-month period, and this defeat had come against Borussia Dortmund.
Finally, the Red Bulls had recorded a massive 0-5 win away from home in the latest h2h meeting, and they also have lost just once at home against this rival since 2010.
By the looks of things, expect a huge win for Leipzig.
