Leicester vs Tottenham
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 21 September 2019
Kick-off at 12:30 UK/ 13:30 CET
Venue: King Power Stadium (Leicester).
Leicester’s unbeaten run to start off their season finally came to an end the last day. Against Manchester United, on the road, the team was subjected to an early penalty shout, which the ref duly allowed. Without fail, Marcus Rashford converted the kick, and that remained the sole goal throughout the game.
Top-scorer for the side, Jamie Vardy failed to provide the usual firepower at the front. He, as well as the rest of the squad, has invited some pressure onto themselves, taking into account the opponents for this next tie.
The Spurs, who, despite having recorded just two wins from their five appearances in the league so far, enjoy a podium spot. They will be taking a hike to the King Power Stadium this weekend and had put an end to their three-tie winless run with an emphatic showdown against Crystal Palace the other day.
In spite of star striker Harry Kane drawing a blank, Mauricio Pochettino’s men netted four times, and that too within the first 45 minutes of the match.
As such, we’re about to witness a fierce encounter between two of the PL’s titans. Keep in mind that the hosts will be looking to bounce back, while the arriving contingent will be flying high with confidence due to their huge win the last match-day.

Leicester vs Tottenham Prediction
First of all, Pochettino’s men are included in the top-six of the best Premier League squads on any day, while their counterparts for the day take the next strata in the hierarchy. In addition, h2h clashes firmly place Spurs as the favorites.
They have won the last three encounters between the two clubs, and have lost only one league battle at this venue in the prior 17 years. Moreover, they have consistently scored two or more goals against this rival for quite a long time, and finally, they are arriving on top of a 4-0 win against Palace, whereas, the Foxes had lost their last PL tie.
As such, expect the guests to avoid a loss at the bare minimum.
Coming to goals though, it’s an entirely different matter. Leicester does have the home advantage, and their opposite number has just two clean sheets from their previous 15 road trips. In addition, 16 of the former 19 h2h clashes had goals at either end of the pitch, and so did eight of the last ten at this venue.
By the looks of things, we’re about to witness a tie with goals by both sides.
