Leicester City vs Everton Prediction
Leicester’s blistering form was just too hot to handle for foes Brighton in their most recent matchup as goals from Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy sealed the deal for the hosts. The Foxes have now won all of their previous six games in all competitions, and are currently sitting second in the first division with twenty-nine points to their name.
Everton, on the other hand, were at the losing end for the seventh time this season after Norwich upset the odds to pull off a 2-0 win. That too, at Goodison Park. The away side are yet to ensure consistency in their PL matchups and have just two wins to boast of from their last six.
At the moment, the visitors are deservedly dwelling in the bottom half of the ladder. And are also just four points shy of falling into the relegation zone. To pile on even misery, Everton have dropped points in five of their last six outings, and have garnered no more than four points from a possible eighteen.
As such, the Toffees are about to bite off more than what they can chew this weekend, given the indomitable form that Leicester are on in their own backyard.
Furthermore, Leicester have no dearth of attacking options in their squad. The hosts have been running in and out of the final third with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Ayoze Perez, and James Madison causing all sorts of trouble for their foes. Their skipper, in particular, is currently leading the goal-scoring charts with twelve goals to his name.
Taking into account that Brendan Rodger’s men have been keen on scoring two goals or more in each of their previous five games here as well, count on Leicester to find the back of the net at least twice before the end of the ninety minutes in this one.
