Leeds United host Blackburn Rovers for the second time in the space of 7 days, but this time for the third round clash of the English League Cup.

Leeds United then went on to win their next round fixture against Cardiff and climbed up 7 spots in the Championship standings. While Blackburn Rovers are still in the relegation zone, despite earning their first league win of the season against Rotherham United at home.
