Leeds United vs Birmingham City:
England – Championship.
Date: Saturday, 13 August, 2016
Kick-off: 15:00 UK.
Venue: Elland Road (Leeds).
Leeds United will host Birmingham City at Ella Road on Saturday afternoon, hoping to clear off the shame of last weekend’s Championship opener defeat.
Leeds succumbed to a 3-0 mauling to QPR last week. Nigerian born Nedum Onuoha scored the opener for QPR in just 4 minutes of the game. Later things got worse for Leeds when Tjaron converted the spot kick to make it a 2 goal-lead before Sebastain Polters found the third towards the end of the game.
Birmingham City ended their opening game in a disappointing 0-0 draw at home against Cardiff City. Their shot stopper Thomas Kusczak was instrumental in the game as he helped them avoid conceding goals. They now hope for a better performance against Leeds.
