The week 12 Premier League witnessed few goals and more draws but it was full of entertainment. Chelsea Lost again to make it seven defeats this season, Manchester City failed to extend their lead while Arsenal and Tottenham shared points in their North London derby game. Klopp was unfortunate as he tasted his first defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace.

1. Goalkeeper – Rob Elliot (Newcastle)
Rob Elliot was in superb form against Bournemouth, despite coming back from a thigh strain. Elliot made more saves(5) than any other goalkeeper in the week 12 of the premier league. He clean sheet helped Newcastle earn a vital 1-0 win and 3 points against the newly promoted side.
2. Defender – van Dijk (Southampton)
Only Younes Kaboul (15) made more clearances than Van Dijk this weekend (12). The saints have been on an impressive away form this season, they have been unbeaten away this season.
3. Defender – Nicholas Otamendi (Manchester City)
Otamendi was superb for Manchester City in their goalless draw at Villa Park on Saturday, making total of 3 interceptions, 1 tackle and 53 complete passes leading his pass accuracy to 96.2%, i think this stats are enough to earn him a point in the team of the week.
4. Defender – Scott Dann (Crystal Palace)
Scott Dann gave Alan Pardew’s men point as he scored the winner at Anfield to make it 3 wins from last 3 games against Liverpool. He not only win the header but he finished the rebound to earn his team the deserved points.
5. Defender – Mathieu Debuchy (Arsenal)
Debuchy made the most tackles(9) in their Saturday North London Derby game against Tottenham, he was strong in defense and controlled his line well.
6. Midfielder – Mousa Dembele (Tottenham)
Dembele scored an 88% passing rate for Spurs against Arsenal in their Saturday North London derby game, that’s a superb performance, he was so brilliant in the game and well composed.
7. Midfielder – Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)
Ozil had his name written in the premier league assist history over the weekend as he provided yet another assist that earned them a point against Tottenham, he was the man of the match with 8.13 rating, with one assists, 7 key passes 1 successful dribble and 1 successful tackle.
8. Midfielder – Coutinho (Liverpool)
Coutinho was the stand-out player for Liverpool despite his team loosing to Crystal Palace. He still made it into our team of the week, after scoring a brilliant goal to to level the score line. He managed 5 shots, 8 succesful dribbles and 4 key passes.
9. Midfielder – Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
Zaha made more duels(28) than any other Premier League player this weekend in a display that tore Liverpool defense into shreds. He provided the cross that led to Yannick Bolasie’s opening goal and was a menace on the wing all evening.
10. Midfielder – Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)
Jesse Lingard led Manchester United to victory as he scored his first Premier League goal for Manchester United and thus breaking United premier league goal drought for three weeks. His overall performance was impressive and superb
11. Forward – Romelu Lukaku (Everton)
Lukaku is the only forward that made it into the team of the week, Lukaku looks like he is back to his best form and his performance is starting to interests clubs like PSG, he scored Everton’s equalizer and salvaged a point for them.
