Las Palmas look to have gained the fighting spirit about them of late. They are yet to get a real result, but their displays against the likes of Barcelona and Celta Vigo have definitely been encouraging and the Canaries have strong chances to save the elite class status if they are to keep this level until the end of the season.
Sadly for their fans, the Canaries are still amid a super tough schedule and they are now set to play the top-half Villarreal side. The good news for Paco Jemez and his men is, however, the Yellow Submarine’s form. The visitors are going through a tough period after selling their top scorer Cedric Bakambu as they clearly seem to lack attacking options at this stage of the season.
Javi Calleja’s side has lost three of last four games across competitions without scoring a single goal in these defeats. They were particularly powerless last weekend when they fell 0-2 to the likes of Girona at their Estadio de la Ceramica. Given that Las Palmas have significantly improved their defensive displays of late, we have reasons to believe that this will be another tough trip for the Yellow Submarine.
