Spain dominated over Italy on Saturday with 3-0 and it was clear which side will qualify directly for World Cup 2018 in Russia. Their spirits must be down after the embarrassing display, but overcoming Israel shouldn’t represent a problem for the home side.
They won two home games against in addition to the 1-1 draw with Spain.
Kosovo faced the Croatian national team but their match had to be interrupted on Saturday and finished on Sunday, when Croatia clinched the 1-0 triumph.
The away side grabbed an unexpected three points as they welcomed Iceland on the home turf. The brilliant free kick goal was the only one saw that day but Finland absolutely deserved the victory as they had few more chances to score and they defended vigilantly throughout the 90 minutes.
They now have four points earned and they will be looking to inscribe another three against Kosovo.
Kosovo vs Finland: Head-to-head
Their first match took place back in September, when Kosovo snatched a point from the 1-1 draw.
Kosovo vs Finland: Prediction
Finland have a few advantages ahead of the upcoming duel. Kosovo had less time to recover from the match in Croatia as it took a day more to complete due to a waterlogged pitch, and also the motivation is on Finland’s side. They were excellent on the home turf and it’s not likely they will concede a goal against Kosovo if they repeat the same performance.
