La Vecchia Signora had been forced to play catch-up with Napoli for most of the campaign, but the Partenopei ended up slipping up as they crumbled to a 4-2 loss against Roma, before firing blanks in a scoreless stalemate with Inter.

Given that both these teams are in contention for a Champions League spot, it was not entirely surprising that Napoli found things a lot tougher, but that has helped Juventus to climb above them in the table.

However, they’re just two points ahead due to relegation candidates SPAL parking the bus effectively and holding them to a surprise scoreless draw. That result now means that Napoli could overtake them with an expected win over strugglers Sassuolo. Meanwhile, this looks set to be a very busy couple of weeks for Massimiliano Allegri’s side, who next have to welcome current Champions League holders Real Madrid for part one of their two-legged quarter-finals on April 3rd.

Meanwhile, AC Milan have their last five games in a row and come into this match unbeaten in their last ten. Although they’re out of the Europa League, the Rossoneri still have a shot at winning a trophy this term, as they will face Juventus in the Coppa Italia.

Still, they’re taking on a team who have kept 10 straight clean sheets and have just lost once in Turin this term.

Juventus vs AC Milan: Head-to-head

  • Juventus have won all six of their Serie A matches against AC Milan since they moved to the Allianz Stadium
  • Ironically, the last time the Rossoneri beat the Bianconeri in Turin was in 2011 – thanks to a goal from current coach Gennaro Gattuso.
  • AC Milan are unbeaten in their last 10 Serie A matches (W8 D2)
  • Juventus have won 35 of their last 38 home matches
  • AC Milan have won 8 of their last 9 matches
  • Juventus have kept a clean sheet in their last 10 matches
  • AC Milan have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 away matches

Juventus vs AC Milan: Prediction

Juve saw their winning streak come to an end at the hands of SPAL, but they’re still unbeaten and sitting two points clear on top of the table. They’re unbeaten in their last four meetings with AC Milan, and that includes wins in their last three. That being said, Milan could certainly cause them some problems, especially with the impressive form that they have been in in Serie A.
