Jose Mourinho won’t waste time to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jose Mourinho has penned three years contract with Man United, that was great and much expected news to all Red Devils fans. As they are assured of at least a silverware any-time soon and restore United to their original level.

“To become Manchester United manager is a special honour in the game. It is a club known and admired throughout the world. “There is a mystique and a romance about it which no other club can match,” said the former Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss who is aware of the task ahead of him despite declaring his love for the club.

Man United had their worse campaign in 25 years after Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013. Finishing seventh in 2013/14 with just 64 points lesser than 66 points to finish sixth in 2015/16 season. Red Devils fans need to see trophies at Old Trafford again despite the FA Cup victory.

Jose Mourinho always admire shoulder-to-shoulder strikers as frontmen ever since he hit the Premier League at Chelsea in 2004. Drogba was the forward he used for both his first and second stint amid Diego Costa being in the mix. Mourinho used Argentina internationals Diego Milito and Gonzalo Higuain at Inter Milan and Real Madrid respectively.

“I have always felt an affinity with Old Trafford; it has hosted some important memories for me in my career and I have always enjoyed a rapport with the United fans.” Jose Mourinho said.

“I’m looking forward to being their manager and enjoying their magnificent support in the coming years.”

To build the mutual trust and respect Mourinho is talking about, victorious days are expected under his regime.

Man United netted just 49 goals in the 2015/16 lowest was 58 in 2004/05 season. The highest goal scorer was Anthony Martial with just 11 and the Portuguese cannot sit ideal with this poor scoring attitude.

With how Jose Mourinho refers strikers stature and calibre, won’t it be necessary to snap Zlatan Ibrahimovic quickly?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of contract at PSG and would be making a move to any stellar club soon.

The Swede scored 50 goals in all competitions for the French Ligue I champions and has been one the players with winning mentality as his won at least a trophy in every league he’s played in thus Eredivisie, Series A, La Liga and French Ligue I.

Its looks easy for Mourinho to persuade the 34-year old who recently declared the love he had at Inter Milan with Jose Mourinho.

“I think it’s a great move for Manchester United to bring in Mourinho. I believe he is the man to bring them back to the top. If you want to win, you bring Mourinho.”

“I have spoken to Mourinho every day since I left Inter, so there is no secret. I had a great relationship with Mourinho and a fantastic time when I was working with him.

Mourinho needs strikers as good as Ibrahimovic both mentally, physically and technically, the two individuals telepathy is there as they have worked together and Mourinho won’t waste time to bring him to Old Trafford.
