Jordan Ibe joins Liverpool Hamstring Train

The ‘Hamstring Train’ returned to Liverpool again and it hits Jordan Ibe and is ruled out for the FA cup clash against Exeter City.

The English player is now the seventh Liverpool player to be hit with hamstring curse this season.

The England winger’s goal against Stoke City in the midweek Capital One Cup semi final was the difference between the two teams as Liverpool secured a 1-0 first leg victory.

Liverpool Echo has reported that the player laid complaints of injury in the wake of the Britannia victory and has been ruled out of the game against Exeter.

Jordan Ibe now becomes the seventh player in Jurgen Klopp’s squad to be on the sideline due to hamstring injury after he missed training at Melwood on Thursday.

With super fixtures coming against Arsenal And Manchester United respectively, the Anfield outfit are hopeful the issue isn’t a serious one and are yet to rule him out of both fixtures.

Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Lovren, Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, Jordan Rossiter and Martin Skrtel are all on the sideline due to hamstring injury.

This has amazingly raised the total number of injured players in Liverpool squad to 13, something is wrong somewhere.

If there is anything as injured IX, Liverpool can produce that too.

The rest of the injured players in Liverpool camp are; Jordan Henderson (heel), Danny Ings (knee), Kolo Toure (cramp), Mamadou Sakho (knee), and Joe Gomez (knee).

Jon Flanagan still lacks match fitness and so not available for first-team selection and is still building up fitness with the under-21s after going 18 months on the sideline.
