Ivory Coast vs Uganda
Date: Saturday, 15 June 2019
Kick off at 18:30 UK/ 19:30 CET.
Venue: Abu Dhabi.
The two-time African Cup of Nations champions Ivory Coast will be meeting Uganda in Abu Dhabi on Saturday for an international friendly clash as they prepare themselves for their respective 2019 edition in Egypt.
The Ivorian side are on a very impressive run, both at home and away, and are definitely one of the strong contenders to go all the way in the AFCON cup.
Uganda on the other hand will be looking to get in as much practice as possible before they head to Egypt to take on DR Congo in their first group stage match of the African Cup of Nations.
Ibrahim Kamara and his men were held to stalemates in five of their last six trips, but they are favourites in Saturday’s clash.
The Elephants will be taking on South Africa in the opening match of their African Cup of Nations campaign in two weeks, and a win against the Uganda side would definitely boost their confidence and morale.
Meantime, Uganda are slotted in a strong group which includes hosts Egypt, DR Congo and Zimbabwe.

Ivory Coast vs Uganda Prediction
Ivory Coast are without a loss in any of their last five away matches and could well extent their unbeaten record to six when they take on Uganda in Abu Dhabi ahead of their much-anticipated African Cup of Nations Campaign.
Although the Ivorian side have only one win amidst managing four draws in those last five away matches, they should be able to win comfortably on Saturday provided they field a strong line-up.
The Elephants scored a brace, courtesy of striker Wilfred Bony, last time at home and will be hoping for a few more from him to make the difference against the Uganda National team.
Their last three home matches were certainly impressive, having netted seven goals while conceding just one, but they will have to find the win on Saturday without that home advantage.
The Uganda side on the other hand have been on a miserable away run, managing just one win in their last five away matches.
With just two clean sheets in those last five away matches, the chances of keeping a clean sheet against the attack minded Ivory Coast side is highly unlikely.
We can expect the Elephants to finish the game with at least two goals under their belt against the struggling Uganda side.
