Israel vs Poland Prediction

Israel managed to bring a dismal four-match winless run to an abrupt halt last month with a 3-1 win over rock bottom side Latvia at home. The hosts were certainly much the better side in that matchup and registered a total of twenty eights attempts at goal. Half of which, were right on target.

Poland, on the other hand, extended their three-match unbeaten streak by pulling off a victory against North Macedonia. Two unanswered goals courtesy of Milik and Frankowski proved to be more than enough for the visitors who have now got a firmer grip on the top spot.

It is also worth noting that the Polish outfit have been a force to reckon with, even on the road. The visitors have come out on top in three of their last four outings. And have scored four goals in the process whilst conceding just half that number. Taking into account that they made light work of this foe in the reverse fixture too, the tag of favorites most certainly goes to Poland in this one.

Be that as it may, Israel have looked a lot more resilient in the comforts of their home. Andi Herzog’s men are yet to taste defeat on home soil, in the qualifiers, and have been alternating between wins and draws in their previous four clashes here. As such, the safest punt would have to be a double chance favoring table-toppers Poland.

Furthermore, as aforementioned, the hosts have been a promising bunch at home. Half of their previous four games here have witnessed them find the back of the net two times or more, taking their overall tally to nine goals. With home advantage intact this Saturday, Israel should be able to bag a consolation goal at the least.

Additionally, Israel skipper Eran Zahavi is currently leading the charts in terms of goals scored, with eleven goals to his name. With the captain netting six times already at home, it is certainly well within reason to expect the in-form Zahavi to score anytime.
