Ipswich Town vs Preston North End
English League Championship
Date: Saturday, 3rd November 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Portman Road (Ipswich)
Here we have a tough battle at the bottom of the table as rock bottom Ipswich Town hosts Preston North End.
Ipswich is having enormous troubles this season. The team has difficulties scoring goals and even harder looks to be earning points. The Tractor boys are last in the table with 3 points deficit from their closest opponents. Their goal record sits at 11 this season which is not nearly enough for this league. They haven’t scored since the first week of October giving them a run of straight defeats.
Ipswich crashed on Saturday against Millwall. The Tractors boys could never get into the game and rightfully suffered a heavy defeat. The team could not create enough chances and even the ones they had were missed.
Preston North End looks to be on the way to recovery. The team lifted itself from the bottom and climbed out of the relegation zone. North End hasn’t tasted defeat since September and looks to be gradually improving. Their defensive line is still the worst in the league but at least their attack started compensating in the recent games.
Preston will be a bit disappointed from last Saturday’s result. The fans were expecting a home victory over Rotherham United but it wasn’t meant to happen. The team took the lead 5 minutes before the break as Barkhuizen managed to find the net. Still North End failed to win as Rotherham equalized in the first minutes of the second half.

Ipswich vs Preston: Predictions
Ipswich are really looking in trouble. The team looked very far not from the win but from taking even a point in the last games. The Tractor boys are really having hard times scoring and we may see that again against Preston. North End are picking up pace currently and despite not having a victory away from home they are looking like slight favourites here.
