Ipswich Town vs Millwall
England – Championship
Date: Monday, 2 April 2018
Kick-Off at 15:00 UK
Venue: Portman Road Stadium (Ipswich).
Millwall are flying high at the moment. The Lions have made it four wins on the bounce on Friday when they eased past Nottingham Forest 2-0 at The Den.- The playoffs are now just a single point away and Neil Harris’ men will have a phenomenal chance to make a further climb and break into the top six on Monday when they travel to Portman Road to tackle the out-of-form Ipswich Town side.
The Tractor Boys have huge issues with the efficiency in the final third these days. The hosts have failed to find the back of the net in four consecutive league outings, a streak that was continued on Saturday when Mick McCarthy’s men fell 1-0 to Birmingham City away at St. Andrew’s. Luckily for the Irish manager, his team has been on a decent run of form earlier on, and they are not threatened to drop down into the relegation scrap in spite of such a negative series of results of late.
Given that Millwall have been super tough to break down recently, we can hardly see McCarthy’s side arresting the current slump in form on Monday. The Lions have not conceded a single goal in last three league outings. The man responsible for the job at the other end has been Lee Gregory who has packed a goal in each of last two wins over Barnsley and Nottingham Forest.

The head to head statistics speaks in Ipswich’s favour.
The Tractor Boys lead the H2H tie by three wins and they have won 6, drawm 2 and lost 2 of 10 clashes at Portman Road Stadium.
Ipswich Town will come into this off the back of three consecutive wins over the Lions (including the 3-4 victory in a seven-goal thriller at The Den in this term of Championship).
