However, Kenya amidst all the drama of getting their key players released by local clubs, were on top of their game against a well-organized New Zealand. The All Whites were the one to take the lead with a brace from Sarpreet Singh but this was short lived as Miheso Cliffton curled in a free kick within 3 minutes draw level before a Ovella Ochieng second half strike secured the full three points.
The Harambee Stars can draw some confidence from the win played in a difficult wet ground.

Despite all the troubles against higher ranked sides, India remain a tough team to beat at their own backyard. They are the only team to have named a full-strength squad for this tournament and some of their players are coming on the back of a fine domestic season.
I believe, this contest could have been far more competent on another day, if Kenya were able to bring their best squad. At this point, I cannot see anything other than a home win on Monday night.
