Hungary vs Estonia
UEFA – Nations League
Date: Thursday, 15 November 2018
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Groupama Arena (Budapest).
Estonia have ended a five-game losing streak across competitions in a thriller 3-3 draw against Hungary in October and they now travel to Budapest hoping to build on the performance and cause an upset at Groupama Arena too.
Hungary have seen their unpredictable run continue and with just two wins in ten outings since the World Cup Qualifiers back in 2017, they’re hardly in the best shape possible. However, we have seen Marco Rossi’s men as a lot tougher outfit at home ground and we do hope to see them in good shape on the day as well.
Magyars have had troubles scoring goals lately but have been solid with Adam Szalai, who has been in fine form with Hoffenheim too, so it does feel they’re heavy favourites to secure the points this time around. Estonia have struggled on the road and we should see the home side motivated to capitalize on that too!
Hungary vs Estonia: Head-to-head
- We’ve seen a six-goal thriller as the sides shared the spoils in October 2018.
- Hungary have beaten Estonia in three head-to-head clashes beforehand, regularly netting numbers of goals.
- We’ve seen 18 goals in the sides’ last four matchups between the sides, which does promise another exciting contest.
Hungary vs Estonia: Prediction
We will back Hungary to turn it their way once again on the day and we’ll now stick our necks out for a Home win & Over 2.5 goals FT, which comes at 2.40 and has attracted many value seekers already – seeing the sides’ October clash and a history of such clash in head-to-head encounters.
We expect Adam Szalai leading the attacking line for the Hungarians once again and we’ll now back him to find the net anytime at 1.80, hoping he can build on his recent performances and impress against the rivals once again – in front of the home crowd this time around.
