Australia will travel to Budapest in high spirits after destroying another World Cup absentee Czech Republic 4-0 at the start of the month. It was a thrilling showing from Socceroos who have been struggling for goals in some earlier adventures under Ange Poscetoglou. Can they repeat such performance in the final check before the World Cup start?
We’d definitely not be shocked to see such scenario given that Hungary come into this June set of friendlies low (v Belarus and Australia) low on confidence after losing to both Kazakhstan and Scotland in March.
The Hungarians have huge troubles to follow up on their successes from the EURO 2016 in France. They had an underwhelming WC qualifying campaign which forced the managerial change, but the Belgian expert Georges Leekens is yet to turn a corner for Magyars ever since taking charge in November last year.

The 4-4-1-1 formation with Tom Rogic just behind the sole striker Andrew Nabbout worked out perfectly for Bert van Marwijk against the Czechs last Friday. Matthew Leckie did a phenomenal job on the right flank bagging a brace, while Nabbout added one himself in a demolishing 4-0 victory.
Australia proved the quality against a very solid line-up of Czechs (included Schick, Krmencik, Barak and Darida in the starting XI) and we believe they will capitalize on such display with another victory against the struggling opposition.
