Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig
Date: Sunday, 28 August 2016,
Kick-Off: 14:30 UK
Venue: Rhein-Neckar-Arena (Sinsheim).
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim escaped relegation by virtue of a point last season. And much of the credit goes to the youngest ever manager to lead a Bundesliga team, Julian Nagelsmann. The 28-year old replaced Huub Stevens on February 2016 with the club reeling at the foot of the Bundesliga table. They accumulated 16 points from a possible 27 to guarantee their stay in top division for another season.
RasenBallsport Leipzig underwent a dramatic rise in stature since their formation nine years ago. They have some similarities with Hoffenheim in the dramatic fashion which they earned promotion. Also, both these clubs were guided to Bundesliga by Ralf Rangnick. Now Rangnick has been re-installed to his former position as Sporting Director, Leipzig will be managed by former FC Ingolstadt coach Ralph Hasenhuttl for the new season.

This will be the first time that these two teams meet in a competitive fixture.
Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig: Prediction
Hoffenheim will be looking to start their season on a high and will be looking for all three points in front of their home crowd. They might have made a great escape from relegation last season, but Nagelsmann has already set his sights on a top of the table finish this season. With some excellent buys in the summer transfer window, Hoffenheim are expected to play an attacking brand of football this term. The likes of Sandro Wagner, who scored 14 goals for Darmstadt last season and Andrej Kramaric are the players worth watching on Sunday.
RB Leipzig are no pushovers by any means, but inexperience might dent them during the first half of the season. Ralph Hasenhuttl could be the right man in taking the club forward after guiding FC Ingolstadt to a 11th place finish last season. However, their immediate target will be to avoid relegation this season.
Hoffenheim have a strong home record in Bundesliga and they have plenty of quality players who can win a match on their own. So, expect them to kick start their Bundesliga campaign with a win on Sunday.
On the other hand, Hoffenheim have kept only one clean sheet from the last 10 home games. It is worth to back both teams to score on Sunday.
