Henan Jianye vs Shenzhen Prediction & Match Preview

Henan Jianye vs Shenzhen
Chinese Super league
Date: Saturday, 22nd June 2019
Kick off at 12:35 UK / 13:35 CET
Venue: Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium (Zhengzhou).

With just two points separating the home side Henan Jianye from the visitors Shenzen in the table, both the teams will be heading into the clash on Saturday at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium desperate for the win.

The hosts were thrashed in their last home match by Guangzhou Evergrande, with the final scoreline reading 5-2 at the end of the ninety minutes. Despite having more shots on goal, Wang Baoshan’s side were just not clinical enough in the attacking third as opposed to their opponents who found the back of the net in five out of their six shots on goal.

The visitors have not been faring a lot better on the road either, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Wuhan Zall in their last match. Although Juan Ramon Lopez Caro’s men enjoyed the majority of the possession, they could not utilize it to create any goal scoring opportunities.

Both the teams will have to step up their game and be a lot less wasteful if they are to walk away with the three points under their belt.

Henan Jianye vs Shenzhen Predictions

Wang Baoshan’s side are likely to walk away with the three points when the two teams clash against each other on Saturday.

The hosts have managed just one win in their last five home matches, with their last two fixtures ending in back to back losses.  However, they are likely to get a break from their losing streak when they take on the struggling Shenzhen.

The visitors have been dismal on the road, failing to get a single win in any of their last four away matches. Additionally, Juan Ramon Lopez Caro’s side have currently gone three matches without getting their name on the score sheet, which poses quite a big question mark about the team’s attacking capabilities.

The tie on Saturday is unlikely to be a high scoring one, with the hosts certain to take the win by a slender lead.
