Chelsea star Eden Hazard fuels exit rumors after he has reportedly told his close friends that he would like to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid since the last three months and his latest confession has drawn more interested parties into the play.
The Belgian international was instrumental for Chelsea in the Premier League winning 2014/15 season, but his form this season has taken a steep decline. The PFA Player of the Year hasn’t scored a goal this season in any competition.
But his wish to leave is more to do with the Blue’s position in the league this season as he wants to play in Europe’s elite competition and Chelsea are at big risk of losing him if they fail to finish inside the top four at the end of the season.
Another reason which is cited is his relationship with ex-manager Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese coach was reported to be the key person prevented Chelsea from negotiating with Real Madrid despite his agent being keen on listening to the proposal.
Since the day rumors breaks he is heavily linked with Real Madrid. After a couple of weeks, reports emerged that the representatives of Barcelona are in talks with his agent.
Now it’s not only the La Liga giants engaged in the pursuit, but also the oil rich French outfit PSG have joined in.
At the same time, the newly appointed Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has a high opinion of Hazard and has openly admitted that he would like to see the Belgian playing for the Los Blancos.
The French boss is expected to make Hazard his main transfer priority next summer, while there are also doubts casting over the future of Gareth Bale and Ronaldo.
The Telegraph reports that Hazard may wait until Chelsea confirm their next permanent manager at the end of the season.
Hazard has only signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract last February and Chelsea are likely to demand a big transfer fee if they are to let him go.
According to English publication Daily Star, Real Madrid are set to make a £100 million offer to tempt Chelsea into selling Eden Hazard.
But for a club like Real Madrid this won’t be a problem and is also possible for them without selling Ronaldo or Bale.
