Guus Hiddink Affirms To Leave Chelsea And Talks On Hazard’s Performance

Guus Hiddink ahead of their Fa cup 5th round clash with Manchester city, shed some light on is Chelsea contract till the end of the season and Eden Hazard’s future at the bridge.

The Dutch tactician affirms that he will stick to the contract signed with London club and has no intention of keeping the Chelsea job at the end of the season.

“What we agreed, we stick to that,” Guus said in a press conference ahead of the FA cup tie against Manchester City.

Chelsea will be hosting 2011 FA Cup champions Manchester City and will be searching for their second FA Cup trophy in five years. The Blues last won the trophy in 2012.

The team suffered their first lost under the Dutch tactician on Tuesday against PSG in the Champions League round of 16 first leg at Parc De Prince.

Guus also chipped in on Eden Hazard’s run of below-par performance from the 25 years old attacker, “He has to step up, he knows that”.

“Every now and then we have a small conversation about him having to step up to the next level and I hope he will as soon as possible” the Dutch said concerning Hazard.”

Finally,ahead of the FA Cup fifth round Chelsea will still be without the services of defenders Terry and Kurt Zouma.

While Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany will be available, but Bony, De Bruyne, Mangala are out with injuries and unavailable for selection.
