Neither Georgia nor Lithuania were anywhere near challenging one of top two spots in their respective groups during the WC Qualification campaign. Lithuanians have actually made a shockingly strong start claiming five points from three opening ties against Slovenia, Scotland and Malta, but Edgaras Jankauskas’ men have failed to capitalize on it later on claiming juts a single point in the remaining seven outings in the group.
