France vs Netherlands
UEFA Nations League
Date: Sunday 9th September 2018
Kick off at 19:45 UK/ 20:45 CET
Venue: Stade de France (Paris).
The world champions France started the UEFA Nations League with a 0-0 draw away to the 2014 World Cup champions Germany in what was a respectable result for the French team. This was their first match since beating Croatia 4-2 in the World Cup final.
The draw though did stop a 4 game winning run but France have now gone over a year without defeat and at home they will be the favourite to beat the Netherlands who in recent years have had troubled times.
For the Netherlands this match will be their first UEFA Nations match and earlier this month they played a friendly against Peru to prepare for this and won 2-1. They have gone their last 4 games without defeat which is encouraging and this includes drawing to Italy 1-1 and beating Portugal 3-0.
France though are the odds on favourites at almost 1/2 (1.50) to win this and the Netherlands can be backed at a huge 7.00 (6/1).

France vs Netherlands: Prediction
France should have enough to win this game but the Netherlands after suffering a poor few years and are looking at coming back to their best and have impressed in the last 12 months despite missing out again on playing in the World Cup.
This is a big come back game for France playing at home since they won the World Cup and they will want to get a positive result in front of their home fans. The good news is that markets are wide open for this game.
