FC Copenhagen vs Helsingor
Denmark – Superleague
Date: Monday, 12 March 2018
Kick-Off at 18:00 UK
Venue: Telia Parken (Kobenhavn).
Copenhagen and Helsingor are going to wrap up the 25th round of Danish Superleague with a Monday afternoon clash. The defending champions what to keep up with good form, while the visitors are looking for a get away from the bottom of the table.
Copenhagen are having a disappointing season since they didn’t manage to challenge for the title. They have been defeated eight times so far in 24 matches which is pretty high number for the team which aims for the top spot. They managed to win four times in the last five occasions and stabilize their form a bit. Pietros Soteriou and the lads are doing a decent job in front of the oppositions’ goal, however they haven’t been so productive as in the previous seasons. They have been playing fairly good at home ground and have allowed only two defeats. They need to keep up the form and secure Europa League spot at the end of the season.
After a very good start of the season, Helsingor have fallen into severe results crisis which lasts for ten rounds. In that period, the visitors have booked only one win and in the last five matches they snatched only one point. They are currently the bottom placed side in the league along with Randers with only 17 points won. Christian Lonstrup’s side is the most inefficient team in the competition, while their defence is the second worse in the league. They have won only one away match and managed to remain undefeated two more times. They need to improve urgently if they want to avoid being relegated at the end of the season.
These two sides have faced each other only two times in their history and Copenhagen were the better side in both occasions. In those matches, the spectators were able to see at least three goals.
The hosts are absolute favourites in this one and they should be able to secure their win after the first half.
We are expecting another efficient match of these two teams and it won’t be surprising if we see at least two goals by the end of the first half.
