Everton vs Crystal Palace
English Premier League
Date: Monday 5th April 2021
Kick off at 18:00 UK/ 19:00 CET
Venue: Goodison Park (Everton).
With Chelsea losing at the weekend it has opened up 4th place again and Everton will be hopeful of a win. Everton come into this game in 8th place but they have 2 extra games to play on their rivals and could in theory be in 4th place with these converted as wins.
Sadly though Everton’s form has not been the best and they have lost their last 2 games. What is also of concern for Carlo Ancelotti’s team is their poor home form. The club would be in 15th place based on this alone and have lost 50% of their games here. Everton’s last defeat came at home against Burnley.
Crystal Palace are in 12th place and with 37 points they will be safe this season and are 11 points above the relegation zone. Form is quite good for the Eagles who have lost just 1 game in their past five.
Palace’s last match ended in a 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion and if they win on Monday they stay in the same position but move only 2 points behind the likes of Arsenal and Leeds.

Everton vs Crystal Palace: Prediction
Everton have a good recent record against Palace and they should win this game. There are question marks over their home form but maybe having the recent international break can re-set their mindset.
These are the type of physical games that Everton enjoy also and Palace do not have a good record playing away to Everton.
Look out for Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the home side who has been quite poor this year so far, but is due to turn that around and has been working hard.
