The week 31 of the English Premier League was a week of Derbies as three derbies were played in the league – the London derby, the Tyne-Wear derby and the Manchester Derby.
The London derby between Chelsea and West Ham ended in a 2-2 draw as Chelsea was lucky to pull level at the last minute. In the Tyne-Wear Derby Newcastle United and Sunderland played out a 1-1 draw which kept both teams in the drop zone. The much talked about Manchester derby ended 1-0 in favour of the Red Devils as the youngster Rashford proved his critics wrong once again.
Arsenal brushed Everton 2-0 at Goodison park, the league Leaders Leicester city maintained their winning form as they won away at Crystal Palace. Tottenham kept up with the pressure as they trashed Bournemouth while Southampton beat Klopp’s men 3-2, Stoke grabbed an away win like wise Norwich while Swansea pulled more misery for Aston Villa.
